gobble gobble gobble glug glug glug

too much of a good thing can also be bad.

a client of mine from sydney is in town this week.

as he had quite a bit of free time, we have been going out to eat and drink everyday since Sunday night.

arrrgghhh.. i want to retire from eating. i'm so tired of going out. last night we had satay, bbq sambal sting ray, bbq sambal prawns, soto ayam, bbq chicken wings, beer and sugar cane juice. oh my goodness!! i was so bloated, i didnt even feel like having breakfast this morning.

sunday night, he, my business partner and i went to "no signboard" seafood restaurant for dinner, chilli crab, white pepper crab (nicer than black pepper), har chiong kai (deep fried chicken coated in prawn paste batter), sambal kangkong and deep fried crispy baby octopus.

besides that we've had Crystal Jade xiao long bao and la mien twice, Carl's Jr burger (OMG!!! HUGE BURGERS), several coffees, Hooters Buffalo wings at 99cents for 10 pcs, lots of beer, some vodka, beef soup noodles, mixed vege rice... can't remember the rest anymore.

i can't believe i am going to say this..... I'M TIRED OF EATING.

He wants to go for a few beers again tonight... sian.. i just want to sleep.

V for Vendetta

Last night, CL and I went for a movie.

It's been awhile since I last went for a movie with my movie buddy.

It was V for Vendetta. Tickets costs only $1.00 each. Thanks HSBC!!

It was a cool movie, and the anti-hero 'V' was played by Hugo Weaving (also known as Agent Smith in the Matrix trilogy). Although you dont get to see his face for the entire movie, his voice was very distinctive. How often do you hear a terrorist quote MacBeth and the 12th Night? Well spoken, violent... CCCCCOOOOOOOLLLLL

If you were wondering if you should watch it, I would say go ahead. It's entertaining, funny, exciting, touching all at the same time.

healthy, wealthy and wise

I can't believe how much my health has deteriorated since Christmas. All the non stop eating and drinking from Christmas through New Years through Chinese New Year, is starting to take it's toll on me.

Yes, I know it's March already, but only now I'm starting to feel the after-effects.

My sore back has come back with a vengence. I think due to the weight increase and lack of exercise. I've put on a few more kilos since late last year and I do very little exercise.

Social life has come to a standstill as well. I'm just too tired and ache too much to go out. I have trouble sleeping at night becos of my back and wake up zombified every morning.

Yesterday, I went for the NuSkin Skin Carotenoid test. What this machine does is count the Carotenoids in the palm of your hand. Carotenoids are an indication of how much vit A is in our bodies and can only be obtained by humans by consuming them, supplements or food.

It is also a basic indication of how much anti-oxidants there are in my body.

The average Singaporean has a 20,000 - 29,000 score. And optimal scores are 50,000 - 59,000. I had 16,000!!!! OMG. That's super low. Jialat!

Although I used to lead a reasonable healthy lifestyle in Brisbane, it's been drastically different here. I used to supplement regularly and take wheat grass powder twice a day. These few months, I stopped doing it or only supplement irregularly.

No wonder I feel so lethargic and ache all over all the time.

The test was a good wake up call.

I've started my daily routine of supplements and wheat grass again. Need to cut down on the coffee and condense milk too. And GO SWIMMING everyday!!!
