i hate waiting
I created this Blogger account a while back, but have been using Multiply thus far. I decided to switch to Blogger becos the damn Multiply website takes too long to load up. SUCKS!! I hate waiting. The reason I pay extra $$$ to get a superfast 30Mbps cable connection is so I don't have to freaking wait for damn websites to load up!!!
Ok.. I'm done.
Since I started the title as 'I hate waiting', let's talk about punctuality. I heard sometime back from an elderly woman, you can never be 'on-time'. You're either early or late. And today, in the papers, Maya DeAngelou said "I'd rather be early. It gives me an edge. Instead of being late and having to apologize all the time." ...Nicely put!
I tend to be extra early, just in case there's traffic delays. So, at times, I can be 15-20 mins early for an appointment. Then the usual thing happens. The person I'm supposed to meet comes 15-20 mins late. That means I've been waiting 30-40 mins for that person.
Funny thing is that people think it's normal to be late. I think it reflects badly on the latecomer. By being late, we unconsciously say "your time is not of value to me, so I couldn't be bothered to ensure I keep to my promise by being there at the agreed time."
or maybe i'm just different...
